New Volvo Nut
Hey, guys and gals...
To be honest I never gave Volvo a 2nd look until I met Hans (my now beloved 05 S60). Needed a sedan and a guy on CL needed a truck so I traded a 6cyl Ford F-150 for what turned out to be a BEAST. I have owned several BMW's (have a 94 325i cabrio as a pet project currently), but I would stack this 5cyl "entry level luxury vehicle" against any car I've owned, be it domestic or foreign. This car has absolutely no idea how many miles he has... he is CONVINCED he is a friggin F1 straight out of fabrication lol. Not that I recommend this little test, but with this; 5cyl/5spd/Swedish sedan with 270k miles I have put numerous subaru, domestic muscle, and even a brand new bentley continental gt, in check. I am an absolute devotee now... not just because of the acceleration (once you find proper tires and launch), or the beamer like handling, or the incredibly comfortable and spacious interior, or the 13 speaker surround stereo, or the stylish lines... but for ALL of these so incredibly under rated attributes combined into one truly amazing machine... I don't even have to think while driving this beast; it's like simply putting on some kind of exo-suit that integrates with my central nervous system... I can't say enough about this car. In fact I have convinced several friends to buy volvo now lol
Sorry for the incredibly long-winded introduction... now to search for resolution to the only problems I have with Hans; new key and some annoying THUMP in the right rear suspension.
