Hello all! We are first time owners of a 2007 V70 turbo wagon. The availability of extensive information on this and other forums helped make our decision.

The next one is whether to purchase an extended warranty. Dealer price is ridiculous so we're looking at Warranty Direct.

Hopefully, we will be able to contribute as we become more familiar and comfortable with our car.

Welcome to the forum, I wish you the best of luck with your Volvo.

When you wish to post a question, please do a bit of in-forum search as you can often find answers to popular questions (Check Engine Light, ABS, timing belt, etc...).

Make sure that the timing belt & related peripheral components have been replaced at recommended intervals, it should be thetop priority.

I personally do not bother extended warranty, as there seem to be too many fine prints, and they are 80% of the time waste of money, but this is just my personal opinion.

Welcome to the site. Why not wait a few years to pick up an extended warranty? You have untill your factory one is up. I wouldn't reccomend one if you plan on modifying the car at all.
