I just recently bought a 93 850 and I came across this site while I was browsing for parts... my name is Tony and I'm from houston,tx so if anyone else here is from tx..give me a holla!!

Houston, we've got a problem......

Welcome to the forum.

Note, that the '93 850s are unique and they require different parts & service intervals as compared to later models. The timing belt replacement should be every 50,000 miles/5 years. Change out the idler pulley, water pump (only if it's leaking), tensioner pulley & hydraulic tensioner when you do the belt. If you don't know when the belt was done the last time, I would have it done NOW.

thnx for the advice...timing belt was replaced about 15,000 miles ago with just about everything you mentioned...
