Hello all!

I'm new to these forums and new to Volvo. I just purchased a 1987 760 Turbo. The price was great given the car and it's condition, but it will need some love and attention. It's got 198k (km) and everything still works. The Turbo was recently rebuilt too. It has issues, a tapping that may mean new valves or adjusting.

My current DD is a reliable, unremarkable, affordable Yaris. The Volvo is going to need some love before it's ready to be my new daily driver.

I plan to lurk a while and get to know the forums before the inevitable ***-making that newbies so often inflict on themselves. There's some contact information attached to my account, I live in BC, near Vancouver (that's in Canada) and would enjoy getting in contact with others in the area.

Welcome to the forum. I bet you need a Valve adjustment. It probably has never been done. Also, post up some pictures if you have them.
