New Volvo owner here
hello everyone, name's chuck. im in north central maryland about 30 miles west of baltimore. I just purchased a 95 Volvo 960 sedan. very nice i must say, heated leather seats, moon roof, automatic trans, high miles but that doesnt bother me as im a former honda owner. never owned a volvo before, should be interesting. having a few slight problems, will hop on over to the 960 forum. nice site goin' on here!!

Welcome to the club.
Although requiring TLC, Volvos can outlast Japanese makes if treated right. Certain items are known to go South a tad bit sooner than Japanese makes, and they are the electrical/electronic systems. But most symptoms are common and you would find remedies here.

Welcome to the forum.
I had the earlier 960 which was rushed into production and had many silly problems. The later models were a great improvement and I now have my eye on a '97 which is coming on the market soon.
