really depends on two things 1) how good your DIY skills are and 2) what needs to be done to make the car in good condition. The 850s are a good car for a DIYer - parts are easy to find, plenty of documentation, under the hood is not overly complex or cramped and there is a pretty well known list of common problem areas that have been extensively discussed on the board. Throw out your list of needs and you'll get some G2.

On my 850 I’ve replaced a fuel pump and exhaust from the cat back, put in an aftermarket head unit, that kinda stuff

My confidence has gotten a boost from this site
Was just worried about like my turbo, and some weird idle issue. Ive also gotta fix like a blend door problem in my dash. But yeah this is the place I was lookin for!
