Default Newbeee from Ohio

Hi all- Thanks for having this great site. I have finally sold my vehicle and am on the serach for my dream...a V70. I have been soing a little research on which are the best years, etc. I hope to find my new car soon. Anyone have any advice on what year is the best? I beleive the non-turbo's last longer, correct? I also want one with the third seat in the back. Please forgive me ignorance, I am a girl and trying to learn all of this on my own through your help and my own research.

Thanks and I look forward to learning lots and being part of your forum.

Jennifer

In my opinion the 98 is the best year. As long as the car has been taken care of the turbo cars can and will last as long as the Non-turbo cars.

Welcome to the forum.

When you find a car you like, try to be logical and not be an impulsive buyer. Ask to see if the car comes with full service record, and before buying it have a Volvo technician do a pre-purchase inspection.

Not much difference in the life expectancy between turbo & non-turbo, as already suggested by Tech; our top dog.

Good luck finding a decent Volvo.
