Newer Volvo owner.
My name is Star, and I'm a Volvo owner.
Heh. I stumbled into this car, and have enjoyed it quite a bit. It's a silver 2005 V50 T5 AWD. I bought it from a mechanic, and while dealing with that mechanic was a mistake, rescuing this car from him was not.
Poor thing had apparently been in an accident that I wasn't told about (never again will I buy a car without springing for a carfax report...) to the point that the power steering computer had a dent in its casing. It would occasionally start going 'Chimicherrychanga! Chimicherrychanga! Chimicherrychanga! Chimicherrychanga! Chimicherrychanga! Chimicherrychanga! ' on the network, to the point where the other computers shut it out and then the car don't work no more. The dealer took over a month and almost 4k$ to fix it, but it was worth it. (I got a free loaner that I think was an s60... I was expecting some clapped out junker they couldn't unload, and I got a brand new 2014 with less than a thousand miles on it. O.O )
I love the car... after my 91 Toyota Celica, it's like driving a bank vault. In a good way... But, I have a few problems, so I'm here to ask for help. In the appropriate place, of course.

Heya... Finally got around to taking some pictures. Poor thing needs a bath but it's both the rainy season and the (ironically named) lovebug season. It's straight stock, as far as I know.
Yow. Hadn't realized how bad my phone camera, or possibly the loose nut at the controls is. These pictures were taken in broad daylight, with only a little cloud cover.
