Presentation - big old 1992 850
Dear all
I just realized I posted a question without presenting myself. Sorry - I have been reading the forum for months, and I was sure I had already posted.
Allow me to remediate.
I write from Germany, and bought an 850 GLT 4 doors in August 2013.
It has 80,000 km, but it is 23 years old and let's say it taught me quite a lot about automotive.
Coming from a woodworking hobby, I had more knowledge of saws and chisels than ratchets and screwdrivers, but my lovely red crate is now providing me a lot of exciting learning opportunities.
Luckily it is a barebone, no air conditioning, no fancy electrical stuff that can get broken, but till now it checked nearly all the known weak points (timing belt @ 75,000 - fuel pump relay - air blower and resistor - etc etc).
