if you got the code that didn't work from a dealer based on your VIN then its likely somebody swapped out the radio. Did you pull the radio out via the two end tabs to see if the code is written on the body of the radio? PS - not much point to the security system if you could simply get the code from the radio's serial number... but hey its worth asking. If you feel the radio is the original, then you may want to double check the glove box or owner manual for the little card or sometimes people write the code into the book
