Default Run Forrest Run

Hi.. I am sure glad to become a member on here. I have a 1990 245 DL/ with a standard 5 speed tranny with about 380K+ on it. Its been an adventure with fewer breakdowns as time goes on and money goes into it. Picked it up around 350K and have been slowly replacing almost everything important, getting major things done by real mechanics. Redid the suspension all around including springs, fuel system pumps&filters&relays, mass air sensor, flametrap (that made a big difference on oil leaks after it was changed out), timing belt & tensioner, water pump, thermostat, radiator, hoses, heater core and blower motor, Clutch & clutch cable(wish I would have replaced the flywheel at the same time), valve cover gaskets, front wheel bearing, alternator, windshield, wiper motor, washer pump, sound system and a windshield. New summer rubber and a set of studded winter grippers, its a joy to ride in. Serious camp-gear cargo-hauler with the back seat down.
Its my Brick, we call it Forrest...cuz sometimes it wouldn't... but now it does.... Run Forrest Run
