I have owned my S60 for a couple of years, 2004, gave it to my daughter for school. Great car, safe she is. Bought the wife an XC90 last night, from a dealer, used. Love the car, didn't get the extended warranty so I thought I would lurk around and see if I made I mistake. Yes I know this is backwards but I never even considered visiting a Volvo forum "BEFORE" purchase, what a great idea.

Oh well, glad to be here and happy to contribute anyway I can. The only tip I can give is to buy plenty of light bulbs but I am sure y'all know that already.

Welcome to the forum. Extended warranties are hit and miss. Pay the money and hope nothing happens and when something does it was caused by a non covered part. . . I usually just pass them by.
