Default Switching to Swiss? Help us.

Hello everyone,

My family is looking to replace our currently vehicles soon, Volvo is appealing but admittedly I don't know a lot about them. We currently have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and Audi S4, both with around 100,000 miles on them. We would be considering the XC90 (T8 or T6) and S60 (T8). The biggest concern I have is that the power-train seems to be very complex which has me wondering about known/common problems. Are these cars that one would feel comfortable putting 100,000 miles on outside of factory warranty or should we be cautious of that path? Do they get typically become more reliable as you go down to the T6 model?

The hybrid T8 is appealing because of the reported 55 and 59MPGe. For those who drive these cars is that realistic or should our expectations be more metered? Thanks for any help, I had difficulty finding clear answers to these questions so if there are any thread links I'm happy to click and do the reading myself.

Have a great day!

T8's don't have spare tires - if that's important to you. (t6's do)

Thanks for the information. Is this because of the space taken up by electric motor in the rear?
