Default T8 or T6 help PLEASE

Hello, I am torn between 3 low milage CPO XC90's. A T6 R line polestar, A T6 inscription and a T8 inscription.
All 3 have air suspension and completely loaded
The T8 and T6 inscriptions also have the massaging seats which the R-line obviously does not have.

My question is to owners of any of the 3.
  • Do you wish you had not gone with the T8 or wish you would have gone with the T8 if you have a T6?
  • Do you find that after owning the r-line seats for a while that they are as comfortable as the inscription seats? Are they as comfortable on long drives? I am pretty thin so I like more pronounced bolsters in general.
  • My main concerns for the T8 are:
    • Reliability, since there are a LOT of things to go wrong although I would have the 10year unlimited milage CPO warranty
    • running out of battery power and thereby losing power to the rear axle as I drive in the rain a lot and for long periods of time.
Thanks for any assistance!

I leased a T8 Hybrid in August of 2018, then converted to purchase when my daily mileage increased dramatically due to relocation. The T8 is everything I wanted and then some. It has some quirks, mostly software related, but you are right to suggest that there is a lot that can go wrong. Patience is the key, When you first start up on a cold winter morning, it is best to sit for a minute or two and let everything come online. The other nice feature in cold weather is to precondition the interior remotely while the T8 is still plugged into an outlet. This accomplished via a smartphone and the Volvo "On Call" app. This warms up the interior and does not affect the battery charge, VERY nice features in cold weather. You can also lock or unlock the T8 from anywhere, etc. The electronic controls on the center panel take some getting used to but are very responsive. They are proximity controls - not a touch screen, so even after 18 months I forget this fact and push away until the panel goes a bit crazy. Again, slow down and let the T8 do the work for you. As far as comfort, the T8 Inscription has the most comfortable interior I have ever experienced, and this is not my first luxury-type vehicle. There are endless possibilities and I have tried most of them. The battery recharges in about 2 to 2 /12 hours with a 240V connection or about 3 1/2 to 4 hours with a 120V connection. When fully charged I average 15 miles of pure battery driving, but the Hybrid feature will constantly adjust the mode (fuel or battery) and does a great job. Even with my long commute (58 plus miles each direction), I average 30.2 MPH, and this is during the winter. It is higher in the summer. When I lived 5 miles from my work, I rarely used any fuel at all in the commute itself.
As for the loss of power on the rear axle due to battery loss. I have never heard of this and I commute over a low mountain pass daily. Often this is through the ice, sleet, snow, rain, or any combination you can think of. The most "wiggle" I ever get is through standing water at speed, which can be up to 65 MPH. I have the system set up to charge the battery while driving, but only when I take my foot off the accelerator. There are endless possibilities here, so be aware that this can be a bit confusing at first. The one thing I have learned in the 1 1/2 years I have owned the T8 is to trust the system before you react. I am not saying to hand all control over to the T8, but you will learn that it often reacts faster and safer than you would in the same situation. One funny/odd thing about the T8 Hybrid. If it is quiet outside, you might not recognize that the vehicle is actually "on". This caught me by surprise more than once. I have rambled on here more than I should have.... Happy shopping and seriously consider the T8 Inscription.
