Hi all, I have a 92 850 sedan which is slowly regaining it's former glory. Just wanted to introduce myself and thank you for the excellent advice and obvious passion that flows on this site for the beautiful Volvo. Seems like most of you are in USA. You are welcome. Do verify the ym of your car, I'm pretty sure the first year of the 850 model was '93.

 

Different regions different release dates. Manufactured sept 1992, first registered 1993. Same thing really I suppose

 

Here in the US anything manufactured after June is considered the next model year.

 

Probably the same here (?) Think I will just call it a 1993 model Oh yeah, remember that videa you did on removing door trims? You advised to use a magnetic tool to take the screw out. Good tip that one! Once it drops it ain't coming back. I removed them to clean the dirt line. Dropped the first screw and then used tape to hold the next one in its hole so I didn't have to risk dropping it as well. Just wanted to say I appreciate your videos and the experience behind them as well.
