Default Thinking of buying a 1993 240 wagon

I have an appointment with a mechanic in the morning for a pre-purchase inspection including a compression test. What is normal acceptable numbers from the test? The car has a boatload (240K) of miles on it but runs very nice looks nearly new. Any other oddities that anyone is aware of, please let me know. I look forward to chatting with you all soon....oh..1993 240 wagon...

Mass air flow, Steering rack, transmission, breaks, shocks and springs, over drive both mechanical and electric are the things i would have the guy check for sure. I forgeting things.......hmmmm. At any rate if you buy it You'll probably run into a few relays and swiches that need replacement but they'd just be normal wear and tear stuff...easy fix it yourself kind of stuff (mostly) 240,000 miles is young. Drive it hard and see what kind of noises it makes.
