So today, was a crazy day, besides having to diesect a human head, I got to return my new Audi. Had it for 2 hours, motor started smoking and took it to dealer, they claimed it was not warranty (even though a warr. was written and implied)..So after much fuss I gave it back.. So long '04 A4 1.8TQ B6, now the header says B5?? Well that one is still sitting in my side yard waiting to be parted out.

I was a proud owner of a B5 A4 for years. I've done a lot to it, suspension, sways, racing seats, 4 point harnesses, welded in chassis stiffners, ported&polished intake, gasket matched heads, mandrel bent custom exhaust yada yada yada... Well...

My B5 stalled on the way to class this past wed. My girl has always hated that car; its a pretty Casablanca white, bronze metalic tint, velocity motoring vb3's 18x8.5.. but its a money pit. she hated it..

long story short (too late I know). I get the car towed home and start the game plan to get it back on the road, she insists that I do NOTHING to the Audi..hummm says me..

all this time I'm waiting on the engagement ring to be finished (she had no idea), I get a call it the jewler telling me the ring is early! I hop in the girls borrowed 09 Jetta and pull out of the drive to see her pull up in the B6 mentioned above! Well that poo'ed the bed; see above.. I gave her the ring she gave me a car!! wow!

So in a push today after class to find a car, I stumble upon an 04 S60 R, auto; I've never driven one always admired them from a far.. Very sexy car.

So after a little fuss we go for a test drive.. and OH MY GOD SWEET JEBUS!!! You cats had it all right all along.

We took it home, I refuse to part with it, few minor things need to be addressed, they are covering them in the warranty next week. Control arm bushings, leaky(kinda wet)oil filter housing.. thats it..I had the thing on a lift at the dealership myself..oh man so stoked to join this crowd if you'll have me.

300ponies, 295tq you know how hard I had to work to get 225 out of my NA B5!!! I'm a jackapple..

anyhow hey, I'm in tucson. If I can help or if ya need any Audi stuff please let me know. I've been a service writer and a tech. I can help a little..

any things that you suggest I look into, I know the audi and the t-belt stuff. anything like that with the Volvo?
