Default Trying to install camshaft position sensor

Please help. Trying to install a camshaft position sensor on a 2002 Volvo s40. The part looks like it should be easy to install. But I just can't figure it out. Can someone explain or show me how to get to it and replace it? Mechanic wants $150 to do it. That seems crazy given how the part looks.
Thank you

Why are you replacing it?

Was told that that is why the car won't start.

Said that was what was needed. Car was running fine. And then wouldn't start. Ran a coffee machine on it and that is what came up.
