V60 power loss whilst driving
I have recently purchased a V60 2016 which was an ex demo from a main dealer. In the 3 months I’ve had it I have 1 incident in which there seemed to be a computer glitch for no more than 2 seconds where the central locking ‘unlocked’ and all displays went. No issue there as I was going very slowly in traffic. However on Thursday we were travelling on a dual carriageway at 65 and the door locks popped again and the car went out of control causing us to hit the central reservation and lots of damage. Having looked on the internet for known problems it would seem that there was a recall in early 2016 due to computers going down for split seconds.
Our dealer is saying nothing was recorded on the diagnostics. Did anyone else on the forum experience this ‘glitch’, did it get recorded on the diagnostics and did the door locks ‘unlock’ at the point the computer went down?
Any help would be most appreciated....we don’t want to be fobbed off by the garage as this could have been a very serious accident!
