Default V70 1998 2k

Hi I'm Chris from UK..my V70 has suddenly started to run cold i.e gauge just comes of the stop. Not over indulged the anti freeze. Any one got any ideas? Thanks

Um.... Welcome to the Forum. Do you mine giving a little more info? Should also post this in the V70 section on the forum.

Sorry..yes..will remember next time. had to borrow someones computer to post this. Car never really seems to get to temperature even if driven hard which appears to be causing slight emulsification of the oil on the dipstick. Hardly any hot air from the heater. Temp gauge just about lifts of cold portion. Used to always be midway after 5 mins of driving.

I see, it sounds like your thermostat is stuck in the open position. I would take a look there first and while you are in there, I would replace the temp sensor, which is located just below the thermostat.
