Hello,

The dealer wants $900+ to replace the air compressor on my 1998 V70 wagon.

Is it difficult to replace the air compressor? How much do the run at the auto parts store? Can it be disconnected until

I can fix it.

Did the compressor lock up?It is really not that hard to replace.But you need to have all the freon sucked out before for open the system.Then after you are all done you need to have it vaccumed out then recharged.
