my front passenger door lock on my 98 s70 glt didnt work when i got it so yesterday i decided to replace it. it would lock but not unlock. i replaced it and it works both ways now but now the door handle is giving me problems. i have to pull it 2-3 times to open the door. also now my drivers door wont unlock from the inside ever since i put the new passenger door lock. i did not touch the drivers side. any help is great. thank u in advance

 

Something is out of adjustment in the door handle- open it up and check. As for the driver's side, it's probably a coincidence, and it probably broke i the same place as the passenger side- it's not an unusual problem on these cars.

 

the door handle is all set i didnt know that it was attached to the lock motor when i pulled it out i fit it through the door lock and its all set. im still wondering about the drivers side. it locks from the inside but doesnt unlock from the inside. it unlocks from the outside so its alright as long as that doesnt fail. thanks for the replies
