V70 replacing the cam timing sensors VVT
I have a 42K 2002 V70 that threw 2 codes P0012 intake camshaft position timing Over retarded (bank 1)
It was at Car X and they wanted $300 each for the VVT intake and exhaust sensor 918-196 & 918-093 +$300 to install $900. I bought them online at Auto Parts Warehouse both for $165 total. Now to install them and my questions. I took the cover off by the timing belt and it (918-196)is sitting right on top to the right and looks like I can undo the bolts and plug the new one in. Is there more to do or plug and play? For the other one (918-093) I am not sure where it is located? Once found is there any adjustment or trick to installing that I need to be aware of? Thanks...newbie and first post!
