Default volvo 2.0t engine

I'm having problems getting oil to the head of my engine any ideas why? Its the 2.0 turbo. Oil is getting round the lower end as the turbo is fine and the bottom end of the engine is not making any unusual noises. However the top end sounds almost diesel like and is very tappety. If i change the head would a head off a normal 2.0 16valve work ok on my turboed engine?

Check the oil pressure and see what it is at.

The oil pan o-rings go bad and minimize oil flow to the head.
