Hi...just picked up a 1991 240 wagon and I'm hoping to learn from you folks who have had one for a while. Love to get my hands dirty on turbo diesel Land Cruisers...but while I'm waiting for my next Land Cruiser, I'll be spending lots of time in this 240. So far so good, everything works except for the odometer. The temperature control on the dash is very touchy, only has two settings: cold and very hot...lol. Also has a very bad oil leak in the rear of the engine somewhere...oil drips down to the header and the ground. It doesn't seem to be burning any oil though as the exhaust is clear. Hoping to fix those issues soon, otherwise the rest of it is great. Smooth ride with surprising power and fuel economy...and lots of room for my flyfishing gear.
