Volvo s60 engine burned up no warning oil leak
Volvo 2012 S60 engine burned up with no warning lights or anything. Has 95,000 miles on it. There must be some sort of remedy from Volvo with such a common problem. Anyone have advice what to do with the car....fix it? trade it?

What does that mean "burned up" - it was overheated until it stopped running? It threw a rod or seized because there was no oil in it?

My 2012 T5 S60 burns about 1 quart every 700-800 miles. That is equivalent to every time you pump gas, you need to pour oil too. And I am hearing a lot of people online are having this issue. It seem to be 2012-2014 years, which is the years when they introduced the new models with the turbo??? Volvo needs to warn people of this, because you go pass your 3000 mile oil change and your engine is done.
