Default Volvo: Swedish for Awesome Sauce

Hi all,

New member from Atlanta here.
New to my household is a previously one owner 1999 V70 GLT with 94k on it.
It had pretty decent maintenance history on the carfax, but was due for a timing belt job. With the help of this forum I completed the work myself.
New plugs, fresh Rotella T6 oil, fresh coolant and now she purrs like a kitten.

In the name of full disclosure, the car is not exactly mine, per se. It's my mom's. But I think it's the coolest wagon ever built. My mom was driving a convertible GT mustang when a drunk driver hit her and totaled it. She wanted something more practical and more mature so to speak being a retiree and all.
Still, she wanted something with a bit of coolness to it as well so we looked at some BMW wagons. Ultimately their reliability issues (and high cost of repairs) led us to look elsewhere, finally settling on Volvos.

I look forward to conversing further with you fine folks.

Clay
