i have volvo xc90 2004 but for the past six month ago have been enjoying it, but when the service was due i contact my engineer and he perform service using Mobile XH 40W-50, but since then the performance of the car has reduce until i search online before i know the accurate oil code for the car through the user manual which is 5W-30.

To my surprise since i change the oil to the new oil, have been having serious issue, first Alternator Issue, Second the car can no longer do slow, when i start the engine it will come up and go off after some seconds.

But recently now i discover that the water in the coolant cup is always hot, i have to wait till the water is cool before the car can move and when is hot again, i must to switch off the engine because it will not come up again.

Now my engineer said the car is doing over heating, but the temperature inside the car did not go up, also Radiator fan will not work until AC in on.

Can an experience XC90 2004 volvo user tells me what to do on the car, because this issue has render the car useless.
