Anything special to know about doing an engine change? (not conversion 2.9 -> 2.0)
Whoops, title should be 2.9 to 2.9 My fat fingers pushed the wrong button...
So I picked up my used motor from Advance Auto Parts.
It has a 1 year warranty, and I'm replacing the timing belt, tensioner, water pump and obviously spark plugs, oil and filter. Tranny filter and fluid.,
Anything else I should change while the engine/transmission is out of the car?
Anything special about doing the swap? These aren't just a honda civic after all... am I going to have to have anything re-programmed? Or should it literally be plug and play?
