Angry xc 60 buyer beware

BUYER BEWARE I bought a xc60 2022. in JULY 2022. Had so many issues with Infotainmentment system that is was not functioning 100%. On going problems, not reliable, stressful , many inconveniences . So many glitches
Car was in service for 5 times within the 51/2 month of having the car ! Got locked out of the car within 7 days of having it . Put in a new fuse/module . Then at 5 months got locked out again . Car was completely dead both times. Lights started flashing in the A.M. hours told to me by neighbor and a few hours later when was going out, car was dead!! Another time Coolant service light came on twice while I was on the road.

AT 51/2 months they gave me a new XC 60 2023. A week into having the new 2023 " The Coolant service light came on.. just like the 2022... Brought it into service. put a thermostat in!! So frustrating this new car is replicating the 2022. Went to start the car 2wks weeks later it wouldn't start. said "The key is not detected!!!. This is ludicrous !, I tried it twice without starting then put the keys into the cup holder then it started! .This should not be happening with a brand new car once again. Everything should work properly . I'm afraid that I will be stuck somewhere and I will be stranded . I'm on the road alot and go long distances sometime with a baby in the car!!! . The ON CALL button was not working and now the light is out . They say it needs the update which is not out yet !!
This time they're blaming it on the updates . They are not even sure what is going on ! So every time something is not working I would have to wait for an update and probably be stranded somewhere until it updates are done ! if that really is the case . not normal!! Updates are not automatic !! TotALLY OUTRAGOUS!! These cars are defective !!! This should not be happening to a brand new car I have no confidence in this car!! Im afraid everytime I get into it I wonder what will happen next ??? I want a buy back and my money back. i bought a car that I thought was reliable and a good car but unfortunately , did not turn out that way ..I would not trust Volvo!
this is ludicrous!!! This has been so stressful , and have been inconvenienced many times.

I have a late 2022 Volvo V60 wagon with a persistent but intermittent problem.The doors lock up and won't let me in from the outside. Usually it's the driver's door but all 4 have the issue. If I'm inside the car the switch on the driver's door will not unlock to let in a passenger.The hatch pops open while driving down the highway.While parked, it has come down on the heads of 3 people trying to get things out of the trunk. It has not been activated by the foot switch.There seems to be no sensor to stop the hatch before it hits the back of my head. (unlike my garage door which stops for a leaf 3 feet away.) 3 times when I have used the hatch button to close it, the door has only come down 1/3 way and had to be pulled down to close. The dealer has now had my car for over 3 weeks trying to troubleshoot. I am aware that this meets MD lemon law but I'd like to know if anyone else is having this problem or has a solution. Thanks. Mine also said key is not detected and I had forgotten about that. Do you have any further updates?

Sorry to hear about your problems with the car. I would be taking videos and pics of everything that is going on with the car I would be In touch with BB, consumer protection., lemon law .call local news. spread it on social media ! It definitely is a candidate for a lemon ! Keep calling the corporate office and make your complaints and open a case ! For every problem you have bring it in to the dealer get your paper work for proof . After 3 times it would be considered for the lemon 🍋 they dont have any idea how to fix theses cars !
I won my case with Volvo
Im getting a buy back! Took 10 mths of hell to get to this point !
So frustrating !

Thank you so much! I have been documenting like crazy and calling them every time something happens. As soon as I get the car back I will start a video before I attempt to open the doors etc so that I have a time stamped and documented occurrence.

Hi
also get in touch with the transportation for safety in Washington .file a complaint . It is a safety issue with some of the problems.
