do we know of anyone running a T16 in place of a 13g for a S70.
would there be flange or injector issues.

Yes many people have upgraded from the standard 13g in the GLT model s70's and have gone to a 16T turbo.

If your 13g is a straight flanged 13g then you buy a straight flanged 16T. If your 13g is an angled 13g then you buy an angled 16T. This way you don't have to do any modifying.

Your injectors will be fine no need to upgrade them.

Also if you did get a straight flanged 16T and your 13g was Angled then you would have to get a new downpipe that is a straight flanged downpipe. And vice versa.

 

will stock componets for the S70 turbo set up be able to handle
the T16 upgrade.intercooler,wastegate,bev.
I think I saw in the forum that 15 is as much boost as I want to run?
I will be upgrading to silicon vacum and turbo hoses.

Yes the s70 components will be able to handle it.

15 is all you want to run. Unless you upgrade internals, a bigger turbo then the 16T and a better intercooler.

okay you guys are talking about turbos. i have been all over trying to fing out if i can put a turbo in an automatic s70 volvo. and if i can what would be best and where would i find it??

 

1. Is your s70 turboed already or non turbo (N/A)?

2. If your turboed already then obviously the answer is yes.

3. If your non-turbo (N/A) the answer is still yes, but... However it is not just what it sounds like. Putting a turbo on a car. It is a lot more then that and a lot of money to do it right.

A. Turbo
B. Downpipe
C. Catback system
D. Intercooler
E. Intercooler hardpipes
F. Vaccum lines
G. Oil or Water lines
H. Turbo hoses
I. Hose clamps or T-bolt clamps
J. ECU tuning (This is the biggest thing and will cost the most to get it right.)
K. Fuel injectors
L. Etc...
