Hey guys just want to start off and say I'm new here.

I was interested in buying a XC90. Found one with 105,000 for $9,000 from the same lot I bought my old car (2002 Acura that had 130,000 on at time) and was wondering what type of problems will be occuring at this mileage and others. I got the car fax and this vehicle hasnt had a major accident nor a major repair done. Although that makes me feel confident in the back of my head I'm thinking I'll be the person who will be making this first repair. Which is the bounds you cross when purchasing any used car with 100K and up.

Basically I want to know if this is a decent buy for the price, what time of problems seem to occur with these cars at 100,000 miles and up e.t.c

Also I live in New England and everyone I talk to has told me to stay away from AWD vehicles for snow/slush/ice conditions but I feel larger tires with a strong engine and being higher up may be enough to counteract some AWD issues.
