stuck seat belt
My daughter has a V70 XC , been in my family since new. Now the right rear seat belt has retracted into the seat back and won't come out. The seat back won't even go past upright so you can't ride in this seat. How can I get the seat belt to come out so I can get the seat back into place and use the seat?

Best way is to unbolt the bottom half in the floor and fold the seat up. The seatbelt should come loose again. Anytime you go to fold it down pull slack out then fold the seat down on the slack.
Ok, I unbolted the bottom belt retainer, and it allowed the seat back to be fully returned to the upright position, and it appears to be fully latched there, and the passenger belt retractor freed up, just like you said, but the center passenger belt is still tight. It won't move. It doesn't appear that undoing the bolt for this belt will free up the retractor, since the seatback seems to be fully latched. Am I missing some sort of safety interlock that affects the middle seatbelt only?
Again, thanks for your help
