My 86 240 wagon passenger rear seat beltwill pull out about four inches beforegetting stuck. Release it a bitand pull to get another four inches or so. Is there any kind of servicing or adjustment that would help?Thanks.

 

There is really no servicing the thing, inside the tensioneris a weight mechanism that is supposed to lock the belt in place when certain G force, as in a crash, is sensed. Sometimes if the car is parked on an incline, the belt(s) may act up. Replacing it may be the only option. Best bet is a wrecking yard since a new one I am sure would cost a fortune.
