Has anyone hear ever replaced the power steering high pressure hose on a 6th generation Nissan Maxima? Can't find anyone on Maxima.org that has done it or cares to tell me if it's a DIY job.

 

Those guys on Maxi.org are something else. Not helpful at all.

You should use the hardware off the latest hose. I assume its the hose thats poor. It took the dealer nearly 4 hours to do mine and I sat there and viewed him do it. I dont believe I could have completed it myself do to the minimal space behind the motor and my hands and arms are way to big.
