i found out that the guy that previously owned my car, DID not DO THE OIL CHANGE, there were two instances that showed where he didnt do one for 20k and another one for 13k...... according to car fax... this bothers me lol.....

Just out of curiosity, what kinds of information shows up on a carfax report? I've never seen one.

 

It has services, any accidents (that were reported), registrations, etc.

 

I would not trust carfax to show every oil change. What if he changes his own oil like many of us do? I look at carfax mostly for accidents and oddometer correctness, but not routine maintenance.

 

i thought the same thing, but i found out my car was off a lease, and generally that means that they cover the oil changes free at the delearship...

 

I usually stay from cars I see leased or rentals, especially rentals.
