Hi everyone,
My name is Hassell and I am currently doing some research for an article about IB (Internet Brands) and how the communities, they are now a part of, have changed (for the better or the worst) since each forum has been bought by them.

I would like to open this thread as a means for anyone to explain how they have seen the Volvo community change since the buy out. I'm really just looking for your feedback and your experiences BEFORE the buy out, DURING and AFTERthe sale of this forum. There are a lot of things being said about IB and rather than assume everyone's experience is the same I thought it best to ask you all myself.

I went to http://www.internetbrands.com/ib and have been joining all the forums that were bought by IB in order to get everyone's point of view.

Please feel free to ask me any questions and bear with me if I don't answer right away (i've registered to a lot of forums) and I'll be making similiar threads in those also.

For the most part nothing has changed EXCEPT that we have been having problems with the forum now for I think about 4 to 5 months.
I know that the TECH'S are working on it and upgrading all the sites as well but it seems as though we are getting left out.
Admin. tries to keep giving us updates but he tells us what he gets told but it doesn't seem to be getting us anywhere.
I know it isn't his fault. I don't know who's fault it is but I hope they get it fixed soon.

As you notice the Apostriphe is one of the thinsg messed up you use it once it adds another one.
Alot of people try to post and get error messages including me as well.

Sorry if I seem to be hating but I really am far from it I consider this site like my little baby.
I spend alot of time on here helping people that need it.

 

haha, I did notice that. I just thought someone was an English major and a contraction ****.

I will keep checking in and will be giving you all the info that I gather when it's all done. Thank you very much for your reply!

 

We are being treated abysmally. We have been told that the forum was to be upgraded but months later, nothing. I am beginning to wonder if we will be tossed aside.

 

What apostrophe are you guys havin’....?

Just kidding, I use Japanese font when I use this annoying ' thing[8D].
