DVD Collection Alphabetization
Ugh so I have a good many DVD's currently. around 300 some odd DVD's. I had them all in huge DVD wallets. Easy to find kind of.
Now I have decided to put them all back in their cases which are on a shelf. So I did, took me a good hour to do so. Then I proceeded to alphabetize them. Ugh that took awhile and I made mistakes along the way. I have an entire 3 shelf book case filled with DVD's now in alphabetical order. Very easy to find when I want to watch one.
I know not interesting, but that is what my afternoon consisted of, besides playing COD4 on 360.

With a 15 year old son I'm lucky if I can even find my DVD's when I want to watch. Much less alphabetize them. At least you're not as bad as this one friend of ours, he used to alphabetize the foods in his freezer.[

I have my movies in similar binders. I've gotten sick of how much space the cases take up. I also did the alphabetization as well as categorized the movies; different category, different binder (this is when I was approaching 300+ movies). Never again. Wasted enough of my time doing it once. I'm not willing to redo it when I get more movies. But I did create an excel spreadsheet (nerd-alert!) for when I don't feel like fumbling through each and every binder which has happened several times.
Select Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Scheduled Tasks>Advanced(from the toolbar)>check disable Nerd-alert.
(Just kidding). That was TOO funny, jks2.
