Some lady backing into me in the parking lot, not enough time to throw it in reverse.. she broke my driver side turn signal and maybe my bumper is off alignment

well what happened was i was driving down the lane and she was pulling into the spot.. i guess she did not pull in good enough so she put it in reverse to pull back out and reposition herself, and i stopped and saw her R lights turn on so i said to myself (hellllll no) haha and she just proceeded to back up so i tryed to throw it in R real quick but i couldn't so i layed on the horn and she just hit me, doubt her foot was even on that gas that much.. but there is really no damage at all, they just said the whole fender has to be painter which is why its that much.. i was just going to buy the turn signal for $50 and replace it..

you can zoom in on these pics and kinda see the scratches.. and i don't know what is broken on the fender, why its sagging like that =/ ehhhh

Guess you're wondering why the bumper is sagging? There is a bracket bolted with three bolts to the fender that the bumper slides into. Either that is broken or the bumper popped out of the slides. Possibly the slides on the bumper broken?

I just replaced my fender today and if you are handy it is very easily done. I would say take the money and look for a side light and fender in your color.

I hit a deer and it damaged the fender and windshield (that was covered under my glass policy). Insurance gave me a check about the same as yours to fix and paint the fender. Since it was just the fender that was dented I found a white fender in good shape at a junkyard and put it on today. Turned out ok and didn't take all that long. Longer to put back together I think because of all the pop rivets. I was shocked at how easily everything was to take apart and put together though. It was a fun job too and put some money in my pocket!

PS. Maybe you could spring for ABM projectors and corners if you can go this route!

if her insurance writes me a check i might do that!!!

Well the ladies insurance called me back and after i sent in the estimate for $820, they sent me a "revised estimate" for $520 saying that's all they are going to give me! WTF

seems like like BS to me..
