Hi all! I am coming over from the Saab boards to see if anyone here would like to contribute (i.e.) add or correct entries for a POI file (point of interest) you can download. It will allow you to download in many different formats. The website gives you the option to correct or suggest a new poi. If everyone added 2 or 3 entries, we could have it done in no time. If you could also note in the comments whether it is a U pick it lot, that would be great! Think about it, driving in a nother state, and you can see local junkyard on your GPS! Thanks in advance!

That is a good Idea...unfortunately...there are no junkyardsclose tome.

Another good Idea would be a POI for car clubs....Just a though.

 

Thanks for the suggestion. I will get on the SAAB board and suggest they start one with all SAAB dealers, and another for SAAB garages! They are easy to start. Since the owner can do bulk entries, and guests can only add one at a time, someone with a lot of time should start it.

 

I actually started putting in addresses for auto swap meets as well. I have put in the website as a lot of these have shows a few times a year. Another cool thing I discovered is you can build a private poi with personal information. I love how after you put in the address, and click find coordinates, it zooms to the spot on the map!
