How DARE anyone call my 94 850 turbo "euro-trash"?!? I think that they are just jealous because they didn't think of buying a Volvo first. These same people are driving around in their rusted out camaros, OJ Simpson broncos, sky-jacked silverados or similar vehicles if they even have a vehicle at all. I sure hope that they enjoy walking in the snow when I go zipping by them and splash a bunch of slush on them as I'm in the comfort of my heated seats and climate controlled Volvo.

Yea, lets see all those yee-hawin', chaw-hawkin', two-steppin', big belt buckle wearing, line-dancin', 10 gallon hat wearin', teeth missin', knee-slappin', moonshine makin' fool suck in my turbo exhaust fumes while their pick-em-up truck tries to shift into second because they don't know how to adjust a clutch call MY Volvo euro-trash again. I bet they couldn't even afford a used Volvo let alone a new one.

I hope that I didn't offend anyone here. This was not my intention. This was NOT directed at anyone or your way of life here. This was directed at the individual(s) that called my Volvo euro-trash. My apologies if you are offended. I just had to get that out of my system. Its a shame that these people will be too drunk to learn how to use the internet let alone visit this forum.

No offense taken...Though it was straight up funny! I agree, seeing as i have a 97 850.

 

lol i know what exactly you mean, people are so thick headed sometimes, I've gotten into some funny arguemental issues lol about the safety and some other things.

since we're on safety - Do you guys agree Volvo wins in safety? I certainly believe in it.

I enjoy my American iron cars. Not a fan of Camero's. I consider them a wanna be corvettes. Also I don't consider Volvo euro-trash, its an insult to my heritage. Anyway its how the individual acts towards their vehicle. I know plenty of BMW snobs who talk chit about how great their cars are. Granted they are nice vehicles but when a 2 ton Chev Impala waxes their *** on the road they tend to shut up.

 

BMW's are nice in all, but they are a pain in the azz to Maintain. Something is always breaking onour 540i, and it only has 160kms.Unlikeour 745t with 253km. She refuses to break down and is a blast to drive. With all the money that went, and is going,into that stupid car, We could of bought another 07 V70R or S60R.

 

Pickup owners fall into to groups: those who use them for work, and those who don't The latter are like Camaro owners. And they wouldn't know good design if it bit them.

Now, as a RWD drive man, I believe we may have a bit of a tussle here....
