need some help please. :-)
The Scan Gauge or any other OBD2 scanner won't do. They only work on cars 96 or newer. Prior to 96 car manufacturers each had their own proprietary diagnostic port.
I thought that the 850s had their own OnBoard Diagnostics. Something like an LED that would flash in sequence. If you do a search in the 850 forum, I am sure you will find where to find it and how to read codes.

Thank you guy much.......
I went to the sight TISP and it is for 89-93 models (and later non-turbo/non-OBDII models)

94 and later models with OBDII
The 850 turbo and 960 models are OBD II system which are only accessible with a scanner..
I need to know now how I can tell if my system is OBDII or not
It is a 94 850 Turbo.
Thanks
