Cool Never, I said NEVER leave your phone on top of your car...

People, this is what will likely happen when you leave your phone on top of your car after getting gas. Glad I had a spare...

Lol, yes that was me, loss of $200. Someone sent me a message about finding a bag of money in Little Rock. I told them it wasn't mine. I don't believe that stuff like this comes in 3's. I could tell you stories about my life that would make you cry. Just got to keep moving forward. There is a reason I carry a spare phone. Has something to do with me being clumsy as hell.

I don't know a lot of quotes but there's one attributed to Winston Churchill I try to live by..."When you're going through Hell...don't stop!".

Hey atleast you didnt drop it in the toilet or a urinal..
I lost about 4 phones that way. 3 of those happened when I was in college so i have an explanation.

P.S if you do drop it in one of these, no matter what the beer is telling you to do.. DO NOT pick it back up... and worse try to use it again..."Hello, you still there?"

Karma, no you didn't say Karma. LOL Man if there is anyone that should have GOOD KARMA, it's me. I discovered the show about 6 months ago on NetFlix and love it. Watched every episode with 6 weeks. My favorite was when Joy was in that hot tub. I must have laughed for 4 days.

As for this world, we have complicated it so much that s@*t is bound to happen.

Man, I could list stuff in this thread daily. Crap is always happening to me. I'm not whining about this because it really doesn't do any good and I have to keep my head up but here's an example of today.

1. Barrowed the neighbors buffer to see if I would like to get one for myself. Well, I'm working on my new to me wagon, polishing compound to get rid of surface scratches, step 2 the cleaning wax and then, I'll put the final coat of wax. Well, today the darn buffer craps out on me. There is a broken wire in the cord.

2. Pull the roof rail trim off the wagon to get it out of the way and possibly refinish it and one of the clips slide down the glass, into the finder. How do I get that out of there?

3. I move the car to get it out of the sun. Drive down the street to turn around. While turning around I hear something slide off the car. Walk down the street a few minutes later to find my perscription glasses on the ground (street) waiting to be run over by a car. Dodged that bullet.

4. Decide to drive the yellow sedan that I have for SALE to see if the fuel pump is going out or what the deal is with it. Also to get it some sign time on the streets and someone cracks a tail light lense at church.

5. While out and about across town I get a call from my lawn guy telling me that one of my real estate customers house has gotten broken into and they are out of town and need me to help them get their problems taken care of.

That's just a sample of what some of my days are like. I do know one thing... it could be worse so I do count my blessings.

Have a good night.

Keep it coming rspi. You make my life sound like all candy canes and chocolate bars. From now on, everytime I'm having a bad day I'll just say to myself, "Self, it could be worse, you could be Mr. Rspi.

LOL, I actually use that line to keep my head up. I say to myself, "It could be worse". So far today not to much has happened to bad, a couple of minor things. Reminds me of the movie Woody played in where people started saying they were Munsined. LOL

I was helping someone replace a glass pane in a window and the glass broke, had to go buy another one. Guess who they expect to pay for the extra glass, not to mention the cost of the gas.

But really, I also count my blessings. I'm equally blessed. I was in a jam and a friend told me several months ago to let him know if I ever needed some help. Well, I called him on it and he gave me the money I needed and told me that I didn't have to pay him back. Then he went on to say that I could have more if I needed it. I only asked for what I needed. After that he sent me a message and said "Thanks for asking me". Who does that??? Thank someone for loaning them money? (Did I say that right?) I have the best friends.

Broke my spare phone yesterday (ouch). Had it on top of the Maxi when I jacked it up to replace the rotors. Slid off the roof & cracked both layers of the screen. It still works but I had 2 order a new display set from eBay. So, never, I mean never put your phone on top of the car and jack up one side.
