Not really off topic
but sort of....
About two weeks ago Tech and I were talking about after market parts, and in particular POD air filters. He had mentioned that the POD filter he installed increased the fuel economy of his wife's Baretta. Now, I've always known that after market stuff boosts HP ever so slightly but never realized it could increase the MPG. My question is: Is this the story with most after market products? I'd love to sqeeze a little more milage out of my tank.

Alot of things that say they increase MPG sound too good to be true, which usually means they aren't true. Keeping oil and other fluids changed and topped off, tires with recommended inflation, filters changed or cleaned regularly and having a lighter foot will provide you with most MPG boosts. That being said, however, if Tech says that it will boost your MPG then I would beleive him. He's my HERO!
