Default OBX Exhaust for Cheaper than on Ebay

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to jet everyone know about the experience I had when ordering my OBX exhaust.

I was looking for it on Ebay cause that was the only place I have seen it available. A guy that I bought some parts from on Ebay told me about a small company called sparktec Motorsports in Cali. I looked them up through google and found their website, http://www.sparktecmotorsports.com
I read thier contact info where it said to email rather than call, due to the fact that they are a small "mom & pop" shop, so thats what I did.

Danny emailed me back letting me know the ehxaust was in stock and it would ship next day after I ordered it.
Their price is the same as on Ebay $350 BUT... and this is a BIG but... The shipping is almost half the price. Only $56 to miami with ups ground. Almost all the ones I saw on Ebay were $85-$110 shipping. Then with the $10 off using retailmenot code, final cost shipped was $396..

Not only that but their customer service was Perfect! I may take 24 hours for them to respond to an email but I kept in mind they are a small business. But they always responded and always answered my questions fully..

If they sold more parts for the 850 I would most defiantly shop with them again!

So if you are wanting a OBX exhaust for your 850 or 70, check them out!
Also they sell a header for the 240..

Just my recommendation....

PS I will be selling my extra OBX downpipe once I install my exhaust so PM me if your interested... dont know which one yet angled or strait, but as soon as I know you will...

LOL... no ignorance.. its a good question it was confusing when I red it again sorry.

the coupon code is actually retailmenot (all one word). I got that from retailmenot.com which is a website that has coupon codes for online shopping..

Its defiantly a difference in tone. Not as throaty as I would like but it still sounds good. It makes the Sh*tvic's sorry civics im my area jealous. It does slightly drone around 2200-2500 rpms (70mph) but you get used to it quick.
A little advise, make sure your motor mounts are good or your going to get an annoying rattle against the fuel tank heat shield when you come to a stop.

Do you plan to have a cat welded in or go with a MIL eliminator? That's a great price for an entire system.

No Cat for me... FL does not have Inspection so I dont need one.
If you need a cat put in the section of pipe where the cat would go can easily be unbolted and a cat put in.

As for throwing codes Ive had the exhaust in for almost a month and no o2 codes yet.

Excellent, my only worry was the rear o2 acting up and tripping the CEL. Here in Michigan anything goes, no inspections or tail pipe sniffers. Added this to my ever growing shopping list.

Did you notice a difference in power?

Yes and no... at first it was nice and peppy, but my turbo seals are shot so Ive been babying it for almost the whole time ive had it on..

I looked yesterday and it seems I tightened one of the studs too much and it snapped, so when I pull the turbo tomorrow and rebuild it ill replace the studs and give a full report befor I toss the IPD tune in
