RE: one of my hobbies: scale rock crawling
thanks guys. The hardbodies come from toy grade radio control trucks (body only, rest is trash). At this time no one makes a 1:10 scale xc90. Would have been cool if it was available so I could have one that matched our xc90...
They're a ton of fun to drive too!

That is very cool! I'd never heard of this before, is it an organized thing or do you just do it on your own (ref. the scalerock crawling)?
The Benz pic with the ocean in the background is extremely realistic, I thought it was the real deal and had to look 2-3 times... well done!

Thanks.
Its organized insofar as 1:1 car buffs (volvo buffs included) might get together for a trackday or a canyon run. There are organized competitions but these scale trucks arent competitive enough in that arena. Its mostly guys driving on their own or organizing a get together with other local guys. There is probaby a hobby shop near you that caters to crawlers as part of their radio control segment. In fact, this sunday we're having a big get together I organized locally. Not sure where you're located but if you're in So Cal and are interested in seeing them first hand there should be a dozen or more guys driving this sunday at Vasquez Rocks Park in Agua Dulce (located 30-60 minutes north of West Los Angeles, south of Palmdale). I will have both my trucks out so if you want to come drive one you're more than welcome to.
These looks particularly realistic too I think...
