i have heard somewhere that there are people or places that will buy your european cats in order to get the precious metals or something out of them?

has anybody ever heard of this?

where can i find them and how much are they buying them for?

 

Not only European catalytic converters, but all catalytic converters. I've seen people sell them on eBay, but you have to specify the converters are for scrap only. They usually go for about 100 bucks. I think some scrap metal places buy them too. You may want to call some scrap yards around your area to see if they'll buy them.
