What did you do to your car today?
Took the center console out of the white car and cleaned the master window switch. There had been a soft drink spilled down into it in the winter and it was a sticky mess and the buttons would not work properly no matter how hard or what we sprayed to clean them.
I took the switch out and took it apart and cleaned it real good with electronic cleaner and WD40. Got the switch back together and suprisingly it works. Also replaced the light bulbs in there. The two seat heater switches and the gear selection bulbs were burnt out so the console was pretty much dark at night. $23 for three bulbs, geesh.

Where did u buy the bulbs?
Is it possible that they sold me the wrong front mud flaps? They sit about 2-1/8" off the ground.
It's not the Volvo, but in due time I will be doing stuff to it. For now, I did some work on the old Chevy Truck. Going to take it "Muddin" at Yankee Lake in Ohio. Got some major exhaust repairs done to it and installed some Buckshot Mudders on it. Largest size that will fit to boot!

With the new exhaust, driveshaft, tires, engine repairs, etc, I dumped almost $1000.00 into the old truck. I never owned a vehicle longer than this old Chevy Truck. I had her for 8 years. I have always loved my "Black Betty" because she's been there for me all along and never let me down. She has some rust issues now, but nothing major. I figure it was time to fix her up and have some fun with it before it rots away.

I need to do that. Learned how to use ramps the other day. Babied the throttle going up then pressed too hard and went over. Nothing damaged other than the mud flaps, but you have to get up close to really notice it.
Changed out the old turbo control valve with an ipd HD TCV and replaced my vacuum line elbow joints.

Finally finished the interior swap....well for the most part.
Just need to get a few more things and patch the rear cargo floor.
Here it is....

I added a strut bar last Friday, clayed it not long ago, fixed some chips, and had it hand waxed last Saturday. Now just to clean that engine and compartment a bit.
(I know, it wasn't yesterday, but still, looks and rides better)

Ran my 850 out of gas yesterday. LOL, wanted to see how far I could go on a tank of gas. I was able to go 381 miles, and it took 17.5 gals to fill it back up. Not sure why it would not get the other 1.5 gals. Average speed is 30 mph and my trip computer said I had 5 miles to empty.
Washed it, then used polishing compond to get all the light scuffs and light scratches out.
Also polished the front spoiler, scraped off all the scratches with a wire brush.
Then I broke out the touch up paint and touched up all the areas that needed it.
Vacuumed the carpet, cleaned the wheels, conditioned the tires.
It is really looking clean now. No spots on the spoiler, WooHoo!
