I just put my car in a car wash, and clean it up.
Later I'll modify the outside gear/ accessories of my car.
I would like to have a knight rider looks.

I'm a newbie here to the Volvo Forum, so hello all! I just bought a 1989 Volvo 240 what was sitting up for many years it has 131585 miles on it. I paid 200.00 for it and had it towed to my house. The first week I had it I cleaned the gas tank and cleaned the strainer on the fuel pump. I then change the fuel filter and changed the oil. I also bought a new battery for the car. Then I killed many spiders and cleaned many cobwebs out of the car before sitting in it. I went to the gas station and bought gas. That Volvo started up after about ten minutes of priming. Now I drive it every day. I gave it a good cleaning on the inside and washed and waxed it ( photos will be coming soon). I need a new sound system and I have a clicking or knocking noise and I don't know if it is the power steering pulley bearing or the A/C clutch. The A/C is not working but it could be low in gas. I have never had a Volvo, but I truly love driving it. For a 4 banger its got *****. I will be bugging Y'all about how to things from time to time so if you get tired of my asking let me know.

It's not the Volvo, but in due time I will be doing stuff to it. For now, I did some work on the old Chevy Truck. Going to take it "Muddin" at Yankee Lake in Ohio. Got some major exhaust repairs done to it and installed some Buckshot Mudders on it. Largest size that will fit to boot!
With the new exhaust, driveshaft, tires, engine repairs, etc, I dumped almost $1000.00 into the old truck. I never owned a vehicle longer than this old Chevy Truck. I had her for 8 years. I have always loved my "Black Betty" because she's been there for me all along and never let me down. She has some rust issues now, but nothing major. I figure it was time to fix her up and have some fun with it before it rots away.

I finally got the pics from our friend's daughter emailed to me. I mentioned only getting stuck once.........
As you can see, that hole was pretty deep. I was told to keep to the right while maneuvering between two holes, but apparently not far enough.
Notice the clean kid in the back of my truck? Well, he said he wanted to get muddy that night. He got out of the bed while I was being pulled out. The pull tractor was there within minutes. My friend hooked her up to the front of the truck..........
As I was coming out of the water, I started up the truck, dropped it in gear and hit the gas right after this shot........
Here is the priceless aftermath.................
