RE: What did you do to your car today?
My car was washed and waxed for the first time in about 2 months........the warm January weather we've been having has been unreal. I forgot how nice my car looks when it's clean. I get paid at both jobs this week, and am thinking about getting my rims powder coated black. I know a guy who can do all 4 for about $160.00. Does that seem like a good deal?

All it really is that the mirror just peeled the skin back on the door. Nothing on the inside or the pilar looks to be damaged at all, which is real good news.
Your white car looks so much better with the spoiler. We keep looking more and more like we have twins. Too bad you couldn't find an R spoiler. I like the little lip that turns up on it.

Yes it does keep looking more and more like we have twins. I want to find a set of Volans for her car as well. If I can find a R spoiler it will go on the Yellow R before the white one though.
Hopefully you will get the hinges soon so you can get the yellow all back together soon.

tech, what kind of paint did you use to paint the rims on your wife's car?? I remember the write up, but can't remember the title. Was it very difficult to do? How is the paint holding up? The more I see those rims, the more I think about doing the same thing to my own. I think they'd look nice on my dark green car.

I believe the paint was the duplicolor wheel paint. I also bought the duplicolor acrylic clear sealer to go on top.
So far the paint is holding up really well. I am actually surprised they are holding up so well.
It took a little time I had no tires on there. I cleaned them good and sanded the curb rash off then painted them.
Let them dry for a few days. Then all was good.
